ABSTRACT
This chapter aims to inform the trainee of two distinct areas within professional development. The first section deals with applying for a teaching position, constructing a CV and preparation for interview. The second deals with the concept of professional development from both a personal and institutional point of view. Trainees are directed to construct their own action plan for future development.
