Use of the Web to support development of key skills

This chapter is based on the experiences of the Key to Key Skills Project, funded by the Teaching and Learning Technology Programme of the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE). The chapter introduces the project and the system it developed and describes its context. It then considers the students' perspective, issues for staff, the institution and developers, and looks at particular issues related to supporting key skills on the Web.
