ABSTRACT
James Green is a passionate supporter of folkloric herbalism in America. He is the former director of the California School of Herbal Studies where he taught the “Technology of Independence,” skills to empower and detach oneself from market dependency. James also teaches ethical harvesting techniques and ecological herbalism. He has served on the board of directors for United Plant Savers and is presently part of its advisory committee.
