ABSTRACT
Peeka Trenkle is a clinical herbalist and natural health counselor specializing in women’s health, fertility, pregnancy, and children’s health. She is a certified childbirth educator and a professional member of the American Herbalists Guild. Peeka is on the faculty of the New York Open Center in New York City where she teaches Green Medicine: An Eight Month Training in Western Herbalism and The Parenting Series: A Holistic Approach to Raising Children. She is the coproducer of The Art of Birthing, a conference exploring the philosophical, sociocultural, medical, and spiritual dimensions of the birthing experience.
