ABSTRACT
In this introduction to the Special Section (Lowman, 1999) on the psychologist-president, Rodney Lowman reviews major themes of the eight articles on the psychologist-president’s role. He notes that this group is not an inclusive list and cites examples of other psychologist managers who have been prominent in the presidential role.
