ABSTRACT
Recognition of the pluralistic religious environment which has emerged in the United States in the decades since World War II has led to the formation of numerous interfaith groups. In the last twenty-five years the older Jewish-Christian dialogue in the United States has been joined by interfaith organizations that limit their task to two or three specific faith communities, as well as some that operate across the broad spectrum of the American religious community.
