ABSTRACT

By the standards of the year 2050, we are all developing nations. Rich and poor nations, powerful and weak are created almost overnight. Once, Argentina enjoyed a standard of living equal to many European countries. Two decades ago, Lebanon was a modern and prospering country. Less than fifty years ago, Germany and Japan were the destroyed losers of a world war and Israel, Singapore, Taiwan, and South Korea were poor and underdeveloped. Three years ago, the cold war ended and Russia asked Europe and the United States to assist it financially. Compound growth or compound decline makes its mark.
