ABSTRACT

The personality of a human being is the synthesis of his soul and his outward appearence. The external image of a character portrayed by an actor is very important, yet his soul is of even greater importance. It is easy to interest the public in external appearance because it is material, visible. Thus, in order to show one's eyes one must not distract attention from them by any kind of movement or gestures, and one must choose a location where the eyes and their expression are visible to the public. To accomplish this one's acting must be inspired, otherwise the expression of the eyes will not be interesting, it will have nothing to show, also it must be controlled, calm, to give the public the opportunity really to look at the actor's eyes. It is evident that an actor's emotions must be powerful and expressive means, and vivid, too, if they are to arouse a crowd of thousands.
