ABSTRACT

Brief mention has already been made of survey drawings in Chapter 3, page 25; the points raised referred to the completed survey drawing, the final issue. The function of this drawing is worth repeating: it is to provide a mathematical representation of an existing venue (or part of a venue) in three dimensions, from which, should the need ever occur, the venue could be replicated at full size. This chapter illustrates the various steps that should be taken to achieve a successful survey drawing.
