ABSTRACT

Incomplete effort actions do not mean half-finished tasks. They occur when one of the three continuums (Space, Time or Weight) is barely stressed, and its input is almost entirely absent. Sometimes the presence of Flow is discernible, but in a situation where extreme caution and precision is needed, it would be unwise to attempt to use Free-Flow. For example, an apprentice learning to use dangerous machinery would need to exercise extreme caution; an over-confident approach could lead to serious injury. Bound-Flow would be a more suitable option. On the other hand, the highly skilled workman or a self-confident and outgoing person would be more likely to use Free-Flow as natural expressive movement qualities.
