ABSTRACT

Just as most of us have difficulty in walking a mile in one big step or eating an elephant in one bite, we also find it difficult to learn mathematics or teach someone to read in one step. We must somehow find a way to break down the learning and teaching process into bite-sized chunks. We must also determine which chunks are most important, which should be taught first, and how they are related to one another. The purpose of this chapter is to describe techniques for the analysis of jobs and their associated tasks.
