ABSTRACT
How effectively will the existing regulatory framework protect our environment in the next fifteen to twenty years? Specifically, what will be the condition of the environment assuming current regulatory levels and activities? Are there any foreseeable issues that are not being addressed by the current pollution control system? By examining available future projections, we hope to evaluate how well the pollution control system is poised to meet the challenges of tomorrow.
