ABSTRACT

Now, I must say, I'm far more

cautious on the subway, and

I do get a little nervous

still on the subways . . .

whether that's ever going

to . . . it bothers me, and

it never did before. Even

on buses, I just don't have

that sense of security that

I used to have. In fact,

friends of mine said I

walked the city a little

too secure, which was maybe

because I was so familiar

with Central Park. We had

done that route for five

years . . . it's an invasion

of my home, almost. And I

also-my lord, here I am,

I've been going to school,

don't have a lot of cash,

and to have something like

this . . . to enjoy . . .
