ABSTRACT

The Art Students League of New York holds an important place in the American art history. More prominent artists have studied at the League than all the other art schools in this country combined. I have know Bob Palevitz since we were students together studying painting with David Leffel in 1982. His perseverance in his pursuit of mastering the art of painting exemplifies the core values of the League’s mission which is to provide an environment in which art students could realize their full potential. As a result of this process, Bob has been working as a professional painter for some years now, having participated in numerous juried exhibitions and being represented by well-established galleries.
