ABSTRACT
Pupils with severe motor difficulties may require a different approach to learning to make marks or write. They may need to use technology as their main means of recording, but it is also vital to extend fine motor skills to enable an alternative means of recording. This will require a well-planned programme, devised by teachers and occupational therapists together, incorporated into the curriculum.
