ABSTRACT
A discussion of quantum leadership theory introduces the interview with Dr David Collins, Principal of South Cheshire College. David describes the College and its many successes as the highest performing college in UK inspections in 1999 and 2004. For David, leadership is about creating a vision, a set of underpinning values, clarity of purpose, direction and culture. Following a formative visit to US community colleges which convinced him of the importance of a values-driven culture, David established 126ten college values which are lived by the leadership as values in action. Ofsted has judged the leadership of the College to be outstanding.
