ABSTRACT

LEARNING NUMBER FACTS A prohmnd difficulty in recalling basic number facts is one of the hallmarks of a pupil with dyscalculia. Long after their peers have demonstrated quick and accurate recaU, the pupil with dyscalculia may still be laboriously recalculating the same facts over and over again. Years of tedious practice often seem to have little or no dTect. 'fhe pupil's confidence drops and their attitude towards mathematics becomes increasingly negative.
