ABSTRACT
Examples of International Municipal Cooperation Programmes Chapter 3 provided examples of urban sustainability projects run by individual cities or as part of cooperation arrangements with other cities. Many of those projects were part of larger progr.ammes, some involving cities in all parts of the world. The examples of programmes in the present section have been selected to illustrate some of the different types discussed above and to some extent the three critical issues outlined in Chapter 2.
