ABSTRACT
In Chapter 1 we analysed the concept of individualization of instruction and came to the conclusion that individualization is a question of degree, measured by the frequency with which the instructional process adapts in response to the needs of an individual learner. Instructional systems may be individualized at one level of detail, and not at another.
