Conductive Education − Is it Effective?

CE is a system of education for children and adults with motor disorders, that is, those with problems controlling their body movements due to damage to the brain or spine, such as in cerebral palsy and spina bifida. CE is a comprehensive educational programme for children with motor disorders which originated from the work of Andras Peto at the Peto Institute in Hungary in the 1940s (Cottam and Sutton,1986). Its leading proponent today is Dr Maria Hari.
