ABSTRACT
During a typical day in school so many things happen. As a result staff sometimes complain about not knowing what is happening until the last minute. The coordination of activities is an important way of keeping people involved, particularly when changes of policy are being introduced. Communication within the school is an important aspect of coordination, as are the informal interactions that occur.
