ABSTRACT
This subject area aims to develop skills essential to the individual, taking into account the specific nature of his/her sensory impairment. It is termed ‘induction’ because it was created to enable learners to access other subject areas and inclusive opportunities armed with the additional skills and confidence required to cope with sensory deficit.
