Wolfskehl, Wiles, Pythagoras and Diophantus

Paul Wolfskehl was professor of mathematics in Darmstadt in Germany in the early 1900s. He spent many long hours attempting in vain to prove one of the greatest unsolved problems in mathematics - Fermat’s last theorem.
