ABSTRACT
The appeal for action made by Louise in the introduction to this book has inspired the continuing development and dissemination of Checkpoints – an intervention strategy to tackle bullying that takes a sure step towards prevention. This book is a record of how that process has evolved and it describes, in situations where behaviour has become an issue, how the children and adults of the school community have done something about it themselves.
