ABSTRACT
In 1994, the Canadian government's Ministry of Agriculture published Environmental Assessment of Crop Insurance (Fox and von Massow, 1994). This chapter describes the legislative situation that led to this analysis, its methodology and results, and implications for future policy and programme assessments.
