ABSTRACT
The threatened extinction of species in the rainforests, jungles, mountains, plains, seas and rivers in the world is the result of abrupt and violent changes wreaked on the environment by human greed and ignorance. In general terms a good starting point is re-education inspiring a deep sense of interconnectedness with all life and the physical environment. Particularly at home and in the workplace environmental responsibility can be developed and taught to others creating new waves of consciousness. Reawakening brings with it freedom, compassion and love and provides us with a true appreciation of the environment around us. Learning to live in harmony with each other and with the environment around us is simply ancient wisdom brought into a contemporary context. The business and people within it must be part of the interconnectedness of all life. Organized Christian religion has a history of replacing complex, multi-dimensional spiritual beliefs with much more restrictive, ordered and guilt-laden commandments.
