ABSTRACT
Providing care and assistance to senior citizens is very much a municipal responsibility in Denmark, but several municipalities have started asking private companies to submit tenders for service tasks. At present, increased social attention is directed to the quality of services offered by the public sector in return for the payment of taxes. Thus, many Danish municipalities are beginning to focus on the requirements of users and on their evaluation of the level of service they receive.
