ABSTRACT

Many of today's challenges rise as huge as mountains. Our society seems to become more and more unpredictable and complex. No one has the answer to what is right and what is wrong. Morals have become a private matter. At the same time voices are heard from many directions, searching for ‘closeness’, ‘core values’, ‘ethics’ and ‘solidarity’. It seems, therefore, necessary to pause for a moment to consider what is important and valuable to us. What are our needs and what expectations do we have of the organizations and communities of which we are part?
