ABSTRACT
Reducing fossil fuel use and shifting toward renewable energy sources such as wind and solar power is one of the key challenges in moving toward a sustainable economy. Opponents of such a shift have long argued that pursuing an alternative energy path would be a job killer. 1 But this need not be the case. Among alternative sources of energy, wind power has progressed most rapidly, and it is now beginning to offer a fast-increasing number of jobs.
