ABSTRACT

What is Ramiro thinking about, I wonder, as we crash clumsily along the rainforest path behind him. For us, our walk reveals a thousand new sensations: giant tree trunks, insects camouflaged as leaves, the sounds of birds and frogs and crickets, splashes of colour among endless shades of green - scarlet flowers, strange yellow fruits, white fungus on rotting logs, electric blue butterflies.
