ABSTRACT

162 As emphasized throughout this manual, the ultimate goal of participatory community development projects is to make change happen. In addition to discussing their experiences and ideas about the local area, young people should be involved in deciding what to do with the information that has been collected, and in developing and carrying out a plan for change. This final chapter discusses how to translate the results of a participatory evaluation into an action programme, and how to realize the benefits of the participatory learning process for future projects and activities.
