ABSTRACT
It has been estimated that since 1800 the effects of industrial development have increased overall global temperatures by between 0.5 and 0.7°C. If this trend continues unchecked, it is anticipated that by 2030 the average global temperature will have risen by a further 1.50 to 4.5°C.
