ABSTRACT
Regulatory and advisory boards and commissions, committees, task forces, forums, workshops, sponsored by appointed, self-appointed, or elected bodies—all public meetings take place for at least one of three general purposes: to provide information, give advice, or solve problems. As noted previously, the first matter to consider in planning any meeting is its primary objective. Then, develop the appropriate structure and organization to meet that objective.
