ABSTRACT

If there is one point you should always remember about organizing public meetings, it is never to leave anything to chance—or the last minute. This checklist, divided into pre-meeting, meeting, and post-meeting phases, should help you cover everything. It assumes you are planning a public meeting for 50 to 100. The same steps are needed for a smaller or larger group, though, of course, the exact details and amount of staff and other resources will differ.
