Cooperstown (New York, U.S.A.)

Location: On the south shore of Otsego Lake in central New York state, approached by Route 28 from the south, Route 80 from the north, and Route 20 east to west, all rural two-lane highways. Approximately 70 miles due west of Albany, the state capital; 30 miles south of the New York State Thruway; and about 200 miles northwest of New York City.
