ABSTRACT
Location: On the Mediterranean Sea in the southeasternmost corner of France, approximately nine miles east of the city of Nice and five miles west of the Italian border. Monaco has its own coastline and territorial waters in the Mediterranean, but is otherwise completely surrounded by France.
