ABSTRACT
Some 900 feet east of the Nile River, four miles north of Kabūshīyan. The north and south royal cemeteries occupy low hills at the edge of the plain two and one-half miles to the east. The Atbara-to-Khartoum Railway cuts through the eastern edge of the settlement.
