ABSTRACT
Most of the scholarship on John Napier has focused on his development of logarithms. Unfortunately, Napier's method of calculating by rods, his technological inventions, and his theological work, A Plaine Discovery of the Whole Revelation of St John, are less frequently discussed in the secondary literature.
