ABSTRACT
Even if water-based solar heating dominates the world market there are other forms of application, which are attracting increasing interest. Solar electricity is one form of application that has always met with a great deal of interest, and which is now expanding strongly both in Europe and in the rest of the world. Passive solar technology and solar air heating are also discussed in this chapter.
