ABSTRACT

Molotov in his reply to Churchill said he shared his opinion that friendship between our States derived from historical conditions and met the profound interests of both States. Since our States have found a common language and the matters of interest to them would become clear, he, Molotov believed that the friendship would produce results after the war, as well. Concerning a second front, Molotov said he understood the issue described by Churchill, but he hoped that the question of a second front would be resolved positively, meaning as soon as possible.
