ABSTRACT
European civilization is only now recognizing Ukraine as the new state in its center. With a territory of over 60 million hectares and a population of approximately 52 million, of the former Soviet republics, Ukraine is second only to Russia in size. Only the fall of the Kremlin “monster” has made it possible for Ukraine to become an independent state.
