ABSTRACT
Usually the theater is compared to a mirror. The analogy comes from Shakespeare, the uncrowned king of the theater, but the roots of this metaphor go further back. Actually, the theater is a system of parallel, dynamic, revolving mirrors in which both a nation's history and identity are reflected. Life is a theater also, and we are all actors on this great stage, and the director is he who created us — the demiurge.
