ABSTRACT
The "cultural conservative" was defined in Chapter 1 as the tormented anti-massman who questions democratic material progress. Without accepting Dostoyevsky's intolerant tsarist political conservatism, one can forever learn from his psychological perceptions as "cultural conservatism" at its profoundest.
