ABSTRACT
Methods of soil moisture measurements fall into two categories: measurements of moisture tension and measurements of water content. In the first group are included tensiometers and electric methods. In the second group, the oven dry method is still useful, though laborious; more recently the neutron scattering method has shown promise.
