ABSTRACT

During the Freedom Center meetings, Agnes Richter describes about Freedom Center and says how she impressed with their work. A Freedom Center member, Alice had an outburst/breakdown during a visit. "I'm ruined, annihilated", she cried. Four days later, Alice was seen shouting at passersby that she had been kept in mental hospitals for twenty-five years and had been tortured and needed someone to help her; Alice is later apprehended by the police. They take her to a psychiatric ward at a hospital some distance away. She refused the medication the psychiatrist wanted to prescribe. Since she signed herself in voluntarily, they can't force her to take it. Alice referred to her membership in Freedom Center. There's no way for Agnes to know what Alice will or will not do outside the hospital. Two days later Agnes received message from Alice on her voice mail, "I'm back home", in a relaxed tone.
