If you'd like to talk to another mail who has been through what you're going through, call your local chapter of the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) and ask if they have a Widowed Persons Service through which you could talk with a volunteer aide. Their services are available to people of any age, whether you are retired or not. If you find no local listing for them, get in touch with the Widowed Persons Service at the national headquarters, which will refer you to someone nearby.
