ABSTRACT
During the summers of 2007 to 2012, six seasons of survey were conducted at Tel Gezer. 1 The Tel Gezer regional survey began as a supporting project to the current Tel Gezer excavation and publication project, directed by S. Ortiz and S. Wolff. The purpose of the project is to carry out a systematic high resolution archaeological survey of the region, within 1 km of Tel Gezer, and to locate and publish all features therein. This survey hopes to aid in gaining a better understanding of the historical development of relationship between the ancient city of Gezer and its surrounding landscape (Mitchell et al. 2012).
