ABSTRACT
Argentina has long used the concept of Las Malvinas irredenta in textbooks, maps, and development plans to assert its claim to the islands. This paper examines Argentina’s claims by exploring how Argentine geographers, territorial strategists, and others have defended or supported the concept of Las Malvinas irredenta.
