ABSTRACT

This chapter provides a method for top team members to reflect on the roles that they and other team members play in teams. The Top Team Roles Audit may be used for training purposes, for teaching, or on team skill development workshops. The chapter also provides a language for discussing how different people contribute to teams. It discusses the difference between members of a team. The chapter explores how they can strengthen their contribution to teams. A process manager study members of the team to determine their strengths and weaknesses, and maintains an analytical and observant approach. All managers are required to play the role on occasion, and process skills can be learned through training and practice. Concept developers thrive on complex problems and enjoy a challenge; the key skills brought to the team are vision, imagination, ingenuity, precise logical thinking and understanding.
