ABSTRACT
We should like to stress once again that the reader who wants detailed and precise information on individual disputes will need to find specialized literature. This book aims at giving the reader a basis for making charter calculations, for evaluating the meaning of a number of clauses in frequent use, for making an effort to translate the legal implications of certain clauses into the financial calculations and for having an intelligible discussion with an opposite party when a dispute arises.
